Let me state at the outset my position on this topic: There is never anything to celebrate regarding the ending of a life or potential life, however you categorize a fetus or embryo. Every abortion is a tragedy and brings sadness in some way. However, and perhaps I’ve missed it, I’ve never seen it spelled out exactly what the good and godly folks at Breakpoint want to be done regarding abortion laws. Is your ultimate goal to outlaw abortions under all circumstances and for all time, even in cases of ectopic pregnancies or other extreme medical conditions? If there are any circumstances under which, while it is still tragic, ending the pregnancy would lead to a better outcome, at least for the mother, then you need to negotiate and then state under what conditions you could give your qualified support. Right now, from what I read and hear from Breakpoint, it appears that Breakpoint will not be satisfied until there is some sort of absolute and irrevocable ban on all abortions. Is that your position? If it isn’t, then I don’t think it helps the pro-life cause to hammer constantly against the ease with which it is to obtain an abortion without stating under what, albeit dire, conditions you would reluctantly find abortions necessary and allowable. I recognize that entering that discussion will unleash a torrent of criticism as there are many legitimate and varied arguments about what’s moral and fair, but you can’t just keep stirring up the outrage about this topic and expect to achieve some sort of resolution and satisfaction without stating plainly what it is you are asking for. I respectfully ask you to declare candidly and without equivocation what specifically you are you striving for.

the concept of church as we see it today is not what the early church was doing... going to a location in a building to sit in pews for however long, sing a few songs, and listen to someone else tell us what they think? uh, no. what we actually do see in scripture is the preaching of the gospel, then discipleship, which then repentance and equipping go hand in hand. we also see that everyone in the body has a part to play, everyone has a voice, everyone has something to share as the holy spirit leads, and if you think that through, that means that real discipleship would be taking place, because in order to share what the holy spirit is teaching us, it means everyone's studying and doing their homework, researching Gods word, finding their places in the body of Jesus Christ, and actually living in the finished work of the spirit . But in todays, uh, institutions, the only ones that get to say anything are those that rub shoulders with the preachers, or, shall we say, motivational speakers? over the years as a believer in Jesus Christ myself, I started seeing this passive customer seating arrangement as very out of place for the body of Christ, all eyes face foreword with a few yea and amens? really? ... so, no, we aren't supposed to be getting anything from church services, we are supposed to be drawing from and overflowing from the life of Jesus Christ that abides within us as we love each other and support each other as Christs life supports us and overflows his life through us to each other. there's no such thing as going to church and attending church services.

When I was younger I did not feel that I needed to go to Church at all even though I was always a believer. When I was in my late twenties I felt that God was tugging me to start going to Church or at least give it a try. I finally gave in and over twenty years later I continue to keep going to Church every Sunday! I have gone to three different Churches over the years and visited a few others in that time frame. I can honestly say that my life is so much better since I started going to Church and I have developed a strong relationship with God with prayer and Christian music! I love singing out loud with my Church every Sunday as it is a powerful feeling worshipping with a lot of people! I love my Church and recommend it to anyone!

To me, the answer is much simpler to anyone who claims that "Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship". My answer is simply... Then the laws that protect Christianity according to The Constitution should not apply to you or your church, those laws are there to protect "religions" not "relationships". Also, the IRS laws that deem that churches (and other religious institutions) are charities and do not have to pay taxes should not apply to any church that flat out says that Christianity is "not a religion" since the IRS exempts institutions based on "Religion" and NOT institutions based on "Relationships". Why do I have to go to a fiery hell when I already paid off my sins when i died? Isn't it stated in Romans 6:23 that the wages of sins payed is death? This means when we die, we are free from our sins. Why do you need to torture all the dead forever? Did they do vile things infinitely? NO. Does it show justice or love? NO. A God of justice and love will never create such place of eternal torture. When Adam sinned and he was told the he will die and he did died as a payment of his sin. But he was not informed that he will go to a fiery place called hell. He was informed that he will grow old, get sick and die. And that death will be equivalent to going back to dust, because he was dust, until he was given a life. So if you take a way life you die and ceased to exist, and return to dust means you ceast to exist nothing more nothing less. Since Adam's sons are born after he sinned we inherited his imperfect condition, we too are prone to sin, do mistakes, we get old, get sick, and die. The fact is, wee do not have soul that autmatically separate and continualy live when we die because we are not immortal gods. You cannot read the word 'Afterlife; in the Bible. Early Jews and Christians does not believe in afterlife. If afterlife existed then there is no point that Jesus died for us, because we really never got to die because we have an immortal soul and contually lived, we do not need to be saved from death. But to save us from death Jesus died for us so that some of us will not be experiencing death anymore and all the people who died will have a hope to be ressurected to have everlasting life. Also Jesus will not need a ressuration after 3 days of his death from his Father. Because he if he have an immortal soul then he did not really died. And the ransom will not be served.

(23) If you forgive the sins of anyone, they are forgiven; if you retain those of anyone, they are retained.” Therefore by God given authority Jesus and his disciples can forgive sins. So it does not mean that when Jesus forgive sin he is the God Almighty or is co-equal with the God almighty. He was just given to authority to do this. And same case with his disciples, they were not equal with God when they had given the authority to forgive sins.
